After graduating from Ryerson's journalism program in 2008, I started my career covering home renovation and real estate for several Toronto publications. I quickly realized that plumbing—the most essential yet least understood home system—needed better coverage.
To write more authoritatively, I earned my Certified Home Inspector credential in 2015. This hands-on training transformed how I explain plumbing concepts. Now I can walk homeowners through their systems with confidence, not just theory.
As Water Pro's Content Director, I work directly with our licensed plumbers to create guides that are technically accurate AND actually readable. My goal: help you understand your plumbing before you need emergency repairs.
